What does a mini abdominoplasty or mini tummy tuck involve?
This is a procedure which is performed under a general anaesthetic, and which will usually require one overnight stay in the hospital.
The surgery itself involves the removal of loose skin and fat, followed by a tightening up of the weakened muscles in the stomach below the tummy button or navel.

Post-operative care after a mini abdominoplasty or a tummy tuck
You will have a consultation with your surgeon the day after your abdominal surgery, then regular checkups prior to leaving Istanbul. It is usual to wear a protective support for three to four weeks full-time after the procedure, then at night-time for a further two to three weeks. One week after the procedure you should be well enough to return to work, but light duties only. Physical exertion, such as lifting anything heavy, should be avoided for at least a month after the operation.
