Is abdominoplasty the right stomach surgery for you?

Mother nature can be unduly unfair on many women after childbirth, and especially if you have given birth to three or four children. What Is involved in a ‘tummy tuck’ or abdominoplasty?
You have the choice of a full abdominoplasty or a mini-abdominoplasty, the latter performed only on the area of the stomach below the belly button. In a full abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, excess fat and skin from abdomen is surgically removed. In addition, the procedure tightens weakened or separated muscles above and below the belly button, providing you with a firmer and smoother abdominal area.
If you have travelled from afar and have opted an all-inclusive package, you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the hospital for your procedure and, once discharged, you will be driven back to your hotel as part of our all-inclusive service.
Abdominopplasty as part of a multiple cosmetic procedure
More and more often we perform abdominoplasty surgery as part of a multiple cosmetic procedure. This type of surgery can be performed alongside liposuction which would remove fat that is not normally removed during an abdominoplasty procedure and can be combined with a Brazilian butt lift procedure.

Post-operative care after abdominoplasty or a tummy tuck
You will have a consultation with your surgeon the day after your abdominal surgery, then regular checkups prior to leaving Istanbul. It is usual to wear a protective support for three to four weeks full-time after the procedure, then at night-time for a further two to three weeks. One week after the procedure you should be well enough to return to work, but light duties only. Physical exertion, such as lifting anything heavy, should be avoided for at least 2 weeks after the operation.
